ARTIST'S RECEPTION - SAT MARCH 25 3-5 PM

Thirty five sensitive renditions of native flora and cultivars such as the beautiful, yet toxic “Sacred Datura or Datura wrightii – SOLANACEAE,” all made on location under the auspices of the Volunteer-in-the-Parks programs of US Department of Interior in support of its native plant monitoring and preservation efforts in regions as diverse as Puerto Rico, he Great Plains and the Mojave Desert.

Without benefit of specimen collecting or photography, his more natural, unvarnished approach was first introduced by the Centennial Museum 2004. The US Botanical Garden featured his work in Flora of the National Parks 2015. Under the auspices of the Volunteer-inthe-Parks programs of the National Park Service and US Fish and Wildlife Service, his art was created in support of their efforts to monitor and preserve native species.
