Anna Suprunenko was born in Kazan, Russia.
She got an Engineering degree at the Kazan National Research Technical University (KAI) and has worked for few years as an engineer in Moscow.

When she was a child, she liked painting. Anna even has studied 4 years at an Art School. However, she started to paint again only 10 years after the Art School. In 2014 she began to paint botanical objects. She was happy to learn basics of botanical art at workshops with Alexander Viazmensky. Alexander has helped her to feel the nature and see beauty in each plant.

In her works, Anna pays attention to details. She finds something meditative in botanical art. Her favorite objects are forest plants, seasonal vegetables and flowers.

Her botanical artworks were participated in following local exhibitions:

  • First St. Petersburg Botanical Exhibition of Botanical Art, April 2016, St. Petersburg, Russia

  • International Calligraphy Exhibition “Image and letter - 2016”, June 2016, St. Petersburg, Russia

  • Fall Exhibition of Botanical Art and Illustration, October 2016, Moscow, Russia
  • Exhibition "Blossom Time", June 2017, The State Museum Pavlovsk, Russia
  • Exhibition "Ficus, The Fig Family", November 2017, San Diego Botanic Garden, South California, USA
  • 20th Annual International Exhibition by ASBA and the Horticultural Society of New York, November 8 - December 21, 2017, New York Design Center, USA

Now she lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
