Bringing a broad base of knowledge and skills to the classroom, Kerri has become a sought after instructor to teach classes in fundamental to advanced drawing and painting. Her student’s works have been juried into the annual exhibitions of Figureworks, Botanical Artists of Canada and the American Society of Botanical Artists.
BACKGROUND | Kerri recently won PleinAir art magazine’s Best Floral award in their August/September, 2014 Salon competition. Her paintings have been juried into the International Exhibitions of the American Society of Botanical Artists and are in the permanent collection of the Hunt Institute. She has twice been selected as a Still Life Finalist in the prestigious Art Renewal's International ARC Salon.
Kerri has taught classes and workshops at many venues including the Canadian Museum of Nature, the Botanical Artists of Canada. Algonquin College and Nepean Visual Arts Centre in Ottawa. She enjoyed a previous career as an Exhibits Graphic Designer with the Ontario Science Centre and worked on many celebrated exhibitions including Sport, Mind Works, Space and Human Body. Kerri is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and the University of Toronto’s medical illustration program.
