Background

Maureen Brodsky holds a B.F.A. in graphic design from Carnegie-Mellon University School of Fine Art.  She has also studied at the Art Students’ League in New York City. Her professional career has included stints at an animation company, the Pittsburgh Animators, and the graphics and packaging firm, Irene Pasinski and Associates. She is now a full time professional artist and illustrator.

She currently teaches Botanical Illustration for the St. Louis Community College, Meramec Campus, Continuing Education Division. She received Master Artist and Master Teacher Certificates from the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers, Inc., Dallas, Texas. ,Her work has appeared in  the British Porcelain Artist Magazine. Additional honors include selection for inclusion in the 2005 Centennial Celebration of the College of Fine Arts Alumni Exhibition at Carnegie-Mellon University.
 
In addition, she illustrates children books for Guardian Angel Publishing, Inc., The Children's Illustrated Art Museum has Maureen's work on display as part of the permanent collection.
