Christiane is the recipient of the 2023 Lizzie Sanders New Artist Award and has earned an NYBG Silver Medal for her lichen drawing in Curious Allies. Her work magnifies the fascinating and unique characteristics of various lichen species. In this session, Christiane will share how she discovered her lichen niche and detail her drawing process, with a focus on scaling up her specimens.
