Discovering History, Ecology, and Botany Through Drawing Trees with Pamela Taylor
Join botanist and botanical artist Pamela Taylor, author of the book ’Secrets of Trees’, as she shares with us her incredible tree illustrations. Pamela will discuss the importance of studying trees before drawing, revealing insights into botany, foliage positioning for photosynthesis, and the effects of environmental factors. She will share case studies to illustrate these concepts and demonstrate techniques for depicting various types of foliage and making field sketches.
Funds raised from this webinar will be allocated to the ASBA Acorn Fund.
