Maria ALICE DE REZENDE

Born and growing up in Paracambi-Rio de Janeiro. She was a graduate of the Fine Arts School in Rio, Masters Degree in Botany and Margaret Mee Artist Scholar in 2004 at RBG, Kew. Her work has been exhibited around the world and featured in many books and magazines.
Winner of the "Anne Ophelia Dowden Award" 2009 (ASBA), for illustrations of plants from Campina and Campinarama Amazônica.
She has had her own Botanical Art Studio in Rio since 2006 and has work in collections of the Hunt Institute, Kew, RBGE Florilegium, Grootbos Florilegium and numerous private collections.
