Born in 1955, I lived my early youth on the shores of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, in Havre Saint-Pierre on the North Shore of Quebec. I was left marked by it, nourished by the sea, the sand dunes, its islands, its rocks, its beaches, its salty air and its distant horizon. My family migrated to Rimouski in 1964. After studying graphic design at the College of Riviere-du-Loup and computer science at the University of Quebec in Outaouais, I will make a career in Quebec and Ottawa as a scientific illustrator in botany, Web designer and team manager in Internet development. I drew more than a thousand species of plants, and my botanical illustrations are published in over sixty scientific articles and books. In parallel to my work, I've pursued an artistic approach in photography and drawing, I've collaborated in the graphic design of projects within the framework of the program of integration of art in architecture with several contemporary artists. I participate in more than twenty collective exhibitions, mainly at the international level: United States, Luxembourg, Spain, France and Italy in addition to three at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa. I have won several international awards and gained international recognition for the quality of my artistic work. My works are part of several collections.
