Cheryl McCaffrey received a Certificate of Botanical Art and Illustration from Wellesley College Botanic Gardens in 2022. Drawing from years of experience as a graphic designer, Cheryl brings her refined design sensibility into her meticulous and harmonious compositions. She finds watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the quiet, and often overlooked beauty of the natural world, using small brushes to paint the most intricate details. In 2023, Cheryl became a Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists. She has exhibited at the SBA Plantae exhibitions (2023 in London and 2024 online) and regularly shows her work with the New England Society of Botanical Art.
