Inma earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), State University of New York. After more than 25 years working in the fashion industry in New York City for Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Alexander Wang, Diane Von Furstenburg, and Jason Wu, among others, Inma moved back to Connecticut. She then started her pattern development service in 2015, IM Studio, from her home. Some of her clients include Monse, Jason Wu, Alexander Wang, Oscar de la Renta, and many more. With vast experience in the fashion world, Inma knows quality fabrics and finishes each accessory meticulously by hand. She began her watercolor journey in the spring of 2017 when she started researching to create silk scarfs with a botanical theme. She fell in love with the watercolor medium, especially the transparent pigments. She loves nature. Living in the country, she is surrounded by it every day.
