My artwork is mainly in watercolour but I also use graphite and coloured pencil and ink, and work on paper and vellum.
I studied Biology at University and went on to work in International Banking, but have always been interested in painting and drawing. I completed the Society of Botanical Artists Diploma and continue to paint and learn in this exacting discipline, and I am currently Co-President of the SBA.
I also illustrate subjects such as butterflies, dragonflies, shells and found objects.
I am also an experienced calligrapher and potter, and have exhibited my porcelain work at a number of local exhibitions. Recent ceramic work is botanically themed with monochrome hand painted images.
I have taken part in Artists’ Open Studios for several years, showing both artwork and ceramics.
