I love science, art, and nature and what better way to enjoy all three than through scientific illustration. I have biology degree, specifically with a passion for native plants in Midwest US. I have explored botanical illustration on a hobby level since 2021, combining colored pencil with watercolor. I am working toward New York Botanical Garden's online certificate to increase my technical art abilities. I am excited to see where this journey takes me and hope to use this to educate the people around me about the importance of noticing the beauty of the natural world around us.
