The Tri-State Botanical Artists of New York Botanical Garden are gathering at The Center For Book Arts in Manhattan on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 to create hand-bound accordion sketchbooks. Afterward each artist will create their own original "Silver" themed book cover. The sketchbooks will be exchanged between the participating artists who will illustrate 1-2 pages per book. When the sketchbooks are completely filled they will be ready for display. We hope to preview these journals at Sleepy Cat Farm in Greenwich, CT for the Open Gardens day tour through the Garden Conservancy on September 8, 2019.
