The first international botanical art exhibition on native plants of Southeast Asia. This exhibition is organised by the Botanical Art Society (Singapore) and Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG), in their first-ever collaboration with the Indonesian Society of Botanical Artists, Thai Botanical Artists and the Philippine Botanical Art Society. Come and discover artworks depicting a large variety of species native to Southeast Asia, ranging from forest trees, colourful orchids and pitcher plants, to even mushrooms. This exhibition will not only inspire more people to try their hand at botanical art, but also increase awareness of the diversity of plants around us. It gives us a means to appreciate the large variety of plants occurring in Southeast Asia, be they large or small, colourful or subtle, rare or common. They all deserve to be appreciated, treasured and protected. Overall, 120 artworks featuring 115 plant species by 85 artists were selected to be on display throughout SBG. Eighty original paintings are displayed at:
