The GRC has arranged a special opportunity to do a plant walk followed by an indoor sketching session at the new Wakan Tipi Awanyankapi Center in St. Paul on Wednesday, July 29, from 10:00 – Noon. Wakan Tipi rests below the Kellogg Avenue bridge just east of downtown (265 Commercial Street, St. Paul). As stewards of this sacred Dakota site, the organization is committed to “engaging people to honor and care for our natural places and the sacred sites and cultural value within them.”
