Susan Sapanara is a representational artist living and working in the Hudson Valley of NY, Before beginning a career in Textile design, Susan attended The School of Visual Arts. Later, she achieve a certificate with distinction in Botanical Illustration from the New York Botanical Garden and is now an instructor. Always advocating for Art, Susan co-founded the Tri-State Botanical Artist of NYBG a circle of The American Society of Botanical Artists. She is currently artist in residence at Stonecrop Gardens, leading garden journalling classes and has a solo exhibition there through October 2022. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and her art is held in many private collections.
