I have been interested in making art for as long as I can remember and have had many art classes along the way. After leaving a career in teaching, I studied graphic design and worked as a commercial artist for many years.
Inspired by botanical artists, I began a journey into botanical art. In recent years, I have taken workshops and tutorials by award-winning members of the American Society of Botanical Art (ASBA) and the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA). I have been a member of the ASBA since 2017. My work had been featured in their Small Works exhibitions.
Using my photos and real life objects as reference, my drawings allow me to focus on the intricacies of flowers and plants which remind me of the beauty and wonder of nature.
