Susan T. Fisher has been teaching botanical art classes for over 25 years. She created curriculum and taught at the Denver Botanic Gardens, where she coordinated the botanical art program. Susan is also the former Director of the Art Institute at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum where she created the Nature Illustration Certificate Program. She continues to teach from coast to coast.
Susan is currently the Exhibits Chair as well as a past president and former board member for the American Society of Botanical Artists. She is a past president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Illustrators.
Susan’s artwork appears in numerous books, florilegia, and private collections. Her work is also in the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation at Carnegie Mellon University.
