Sharron grew up in a small farming community in rural Idaho. She attended college in California for her BA and MA in Art and then continued working and living in California until 2004 when she returned to Idaho. She has been a student, teacher, technical illustrator, freelance artist, fine artist and botanical illustrator. Her art has been shown in several ASBA exhibits as well as FONX (Focus on Nature), The Hunt Institute, Boise Art Museum, Filoli, Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, The Oakland Museum and Denver Botanical Garden among others. Home and botanical gardens and the wild forest near her mountain cabin provide abundant inspiration for subjects. Painting is happiness.
