Sharon Duplantis

I began my studies in art and photography, receiving degrees in Graphic Arts and Education. While teaching, photography continued to be my primary creative outlet. Since retiring from teaching, I’ve continued to enjoy photography and gardening, and in 2017, published a book of photographs, “Cottage Charm in Historic Seville”. The upside to the pandemic has been time to return to my early love of painting. I took online instruction with Gaynor Dickeson a few years ago & found I really enjoyed painting botanicals. The variety of structure, color, and detail continues to keep me challenged and engaged.
